The before photograph shows a built-in corner tub, a curved glass-block shower wall and beige tile. The finished room keeps the window as a focal point, with a freestanding tub below it and a clear corner shower beside it.

From glass block to a clear corner enclosure

The curved glass-block wall is replaced in the finished view by clear corner glass. The shower wall surfaces, recessed niche and chrome fixtures can now be seen from the rest of the bathroom, changing the visual relationship between the shower and tub.

A freestanding tub beneath the window

The new tub sits below the same patterned window, without the earlier built-in tiled deck. Pale veined-look flooring and shower walls create continuity around it. The window detail helps connect the two photographs while the tub and enclosure make the change easy to compare.
